Take Happiness As It Comes, Then Take the Warts, Too

I ran across a great quote from the author of The Happiness of Pursuit, Shimon Edelman. It goes like this -

When fishing for happiness; catch and release. ~ Shimon Edelman

The book is worth a look. The idea fits well with Dropping the Rope. Grasping for happiness doesn’t work, or if it does, it doesn’t work for long. The trick is to take it – and everything else – as it comes.
